Ongoing projects include the updating of the EFC9 site, which having just moved to a new college, is receiving a complete overhaul. So, while the design has been mostly worked, there are a number of details that need to occur prior to implementation.
Prior to completing the EFC9 site, I will be working on a 'brochure' type of web site for what has been dubbed Green the Scene, an outgrowth of the former ACT Environmentally. Initially this site, as noted will be not much more than a brochure type of web site.
The important aspects is that all these sites are poised for growth, and even if the challenge is not on dynamic sites, it will be on the artistic aspects that will make them most challenging.
Concurrent with these two very important endeavors has been an explosive need to update my own site, now that the online photo album has removed the tedious job of constantly creating a photo album. This allowed for the upgrading of the icons that represent the time periods in which verbiage will still be included, then color coded to the albums, since I can have numerous sub groupings, but all occur within one overall photo album as it were. While somewhat a disadvantage, the ease of uploading images within the various eras, and then to have a photo album that can provide a number of 'views' out weights any inconvenience otherwise imposed.
Again concurrent with my personal site is the desire to have the pixelcolor.info subsection finally completed and up for those who might want to have this kind of information as well as a brief resume, areas of interest and most importantly the Portfolio.
I hope to get the calendar and card under this moniker as items to be sold. The problem, is I must print them, something that is especially difficult with the cards at the moment. The good part is the site has been updated altdivinites.com, to show the cards as best possible, although only the December cards are viewable. But, I've set some initial prices and need to find some slow sales, at least to offset the cost printing.
Although I am now a member of the steering committee of the Thrive Club, I am hopeful of helping make this a vibrant and great bonding experience. I am proposing to a subcommittee, an overall structure and changes that I believe would make Thrive a better organization. The Pink Paper on this can be viewed here and is called Proposal to Increase Thriving Participation.
Whether in conjunction or on my own I have been also searching for assistance with my proposed housing demonstration project that would use the building of environmentally sustainable inter City developments aimed for the upcoming boomer retirement and those with disabling HIV in order to create some once in a lifetime chance to build a different reality, one not based on the autorobot, but where it is not allowed. It is mostly completed and and I believe I am about ready to just mail it to my District representative.
The second, of which I've just started is the idea of a weekly 15 minute podcast oriented towards people living with HIV and with an emphasis on long term survivors. Currently my thinking would be to tackle a topic monthly with each week progressing through with history, where we are, impacts and voices of those who must deal with the impacts. When a proposal is more fleshed out I will provide, like above it's own initial project's page, until it is either successful or dies. There is also this will fold into the Thriving Participation, which is my hope.
